This is how I understand it as currently planned:
Entrance given at the north end of the west side, then drive parallel to the street to the south end of the west side, where the carport could be placed between the house and the corner of the property. As a result, this "driving route" would have to be paved practically along the entire west side (street front side) of the house. Many meters result in many square meters, with the fear of consuming a lot of land area index for this. With knowledge of the floor plan, we could possibly find a more favorable carport parking spot (i.e., not only at the very south end of the street-side property boundary).
Where is it written that one has to drive to ends or corners?
Before I know the floor plan, I won’t even start further with thought processes or "what if" scenarios.

Um, for one here:
- The development measures of the investor / the municipality give us no freedom of choice where the property driveway is placed. It is on the north side, as marked. There is nothing to change there, we have already asked. That means we must necessarily drive onto the property from the north side by car
... and it is also marked again on the plan
- where the entrance / curb ramp is
- with little trees on both sides next to it
- with a parking bay (or road shift?)
- with little trees at the other end
... and the entrance roughly in the middle of the street-facing side of the house. No witchcraft, I’m just cooking with water.

No, that is pure interpretation and standard thinking! Just because the access must be on the left side of the property, here NW, does not necessarily mean the parking space has to be at the end or in the north, as indicated by the architect. As already said: you can also maneuver a car in your own yard, in this case to the right
Edit: basically like you drew it... but a carport with parking space also fits well at half height

I would prefer a terrace in the southwest rather than a carport or a garage....

Sometimes, however, the development plan ignores your wishes, and you have to make compromises -
... and ultimately, you have to clearly state that the house and land often win when the parking spaces/carport/garages are not just lazily stuck next to the house.
