I don't believe that. Here, at any rate, the purchase of the land in cash was no problem at all, even though it belonged to the bank. They said, we'll buy it, and then it went ahead. Only after the purchase did they offer us help with credit if we were going to build and couldn't pay cash. Since the Volksbank is our bank anyway, we naturally agreed. We didn't really compare much with the credit. Since we had a due home savings contract, I also inquired about credit there, and then an Audi A3 with wide tires, H and M young dynamic outfit, a wild commission-pregnant offer appeared, "Don't you want a little more? You can easily handle it," etc... a sobering experience, financial broker....Karsten

Until now, it was probably the case that you only got the plots if you financed them through the bank. There is no urgency here, there are dozens of interested parties. The plots sell without any problems.

The bank bought the plots from private owners. There are also [ET] who did not sell to the bank, but currently, there is no chance to locate them. The plots with a good location are also in the hands of the bank.

We definitely have to push ahead with our planning because we want to make an offer for the complete financing right away. Otherwise, you are at the mercy of the bank anyway.

Theoretically yes. Only the bank can decide to whom it sells and it only sells if the financing goes through the bank. That can be enforced. First financing and then there is the property.
