The LED strips shine directly downwards and are flush with the ceiling. I might still be able to research the aluminum rails, but in the meantime there is a much richer selection - so today I would choose ones for the ceiling that are specifically designed for drywall construction. In the stairwell, the rails were embedded in plaster. Aligning the rails meticulously on the wall before plastering + laying all the cables in the wall and ceiling is something you really don’t want to do again so soon afterwards ;-)

Thank you. Does anyone have tips on good LED strip manufacturers and aluminum profiles? Drywall, shadow gap, and direct lighting.
