Hello ,

the topic is a bit old, but we just came across the picture with the illuminated handrail. We are currently looking for an illuminated handrail. The one in the picture looks very nice. Can you tell me which model/manufacturer it is? Are you still satisfied with it?

It's not my house, that was just a Google image.

However, I have had this in several projects by now, and everyone was satisfied. But usually, the carpenter did it there, meaning it’s nothing finished. That the light is dimmable and adjusts brightness depending on the time of day (via KNX) pleases the residents to this day. I also wouldn’t know why someone should become dissatisfied with it over time. Personally, what would annoy me in the long run are the spotlights with only 3-4 levels, that still bothers me in every house where I see them.

Thank you for the feedback. I thought the picture was from your house ;). Therefore, the question of whether you are satisfied was more about the wood and the handrail itself. We are convinced about the lighting, but online you often see that the handrails are placed on handrail brackets through which the electrical wiring is routed. I liked that look even better on the handrail in your picture.

That only depends on the skills of the carpenter. Everything works there by inserting coins.
