Our construction starts in 1 to 2 weeks and we slowly need to agree *** on the recessed lights, where they should be planned in the finished ceiling.

Currently, we have planned them as follows (see picture):

Hallway: 6 pieces
Living room: 9 pieces
Kitchen: 8 pieces

In the other rooms, different concepts are being followed.

Is this number sufficient with this arrangement or should the spacing be reduced?

Hello,

why do you want to have the cans installed directly in the factory?
There are definitely much cheaper options if you want to contribute a bit of your own work (estimate about €20 for 6 spots in EL, instead of ?40€? per spot in the factory).

Whether the distances are sufficient cannot be assessed because the ceiling height and the beam angle of the desired recessed spots are not known.

The placement itself looks quite reasonable.

Only one spotlight in the guest bathroom?
No spotlights above the kitchen sink?
Are the black dots ceiling outlets? Where are the ones for the dining and workroom then?
I would extend the 2 spotlights in the kitchen work area to three; the distance is probably too large, regardless of the beam angle.

I planned with a distance of 1.50m, a ceiling height of 2.60, and a beam angle of 40°.
With a ruler, pencil, paper, and set square, you can easily determine the distance.

Before asking how the boxes can be mounted in EL:

Buy 125mm or 150mm HT pipe (not KG pipe) and matching caps for the HT pipe. Cut the HT pipe into approx. 13-15cm long pieces, depending on the thickness of the in-situ concrete.
Close one side of the cut pieces with the cap and glue them. Drill 2 holes for the cable entries; ideally, install cable glands in the holes.

When the filigree ceiling is installed, the actual work begins.
Mark the respective points on the ceiling, drill a hole through with an 8mm drill bit.
From above, now place the boxes centered on the drilled hole and fix the boxes onto the filigree ceiling so that they cannot slip.
After the concrete has been poured, you can drill/mill the holes in the ceiling with a core drill 60-80mm.
Done.

I hardly believe that a layperson would dare to do that. Today we put up the Filg. ceiling at our place and I guess it will still be watered this week. I regret that I didn’t choose spotlights in the hallway but only in the kitchen and living room. Since we only have a ceiling height of 2.30, the natural installation of the spotlights will hardly be possible, right?

See my post, as long as the [Ortbeton] is not on it, everything is possible. Well, what should one not dare to do there? I believe everyone can saw through a piece of plastic pipe and drill a hole. If not, then you just learn it. Actually child's play, you just have to come up with the idea.

Isn't there naturally the possibility to install a spot? Exactly at the place where there is actually a ceiling outlet where a lamp is?
