Hello,

the spots we installed cost us around EUR 70.00 each – at a large internet auction site they were offered between EUR 59.00 and EUR 65.00. The installation then came to about EUR 50.00 – EUR 60.00 each.

We decided on our spots during the equipment consultation – both the position and the spot itself.

With the electrician on site it probably would still have been possible – in our large bathroom we ordered an additional spot after the house setup because we feared that the corner between the shower "wall" and the toilet might be too dark.

We do not have any foil in the ceiling, not even in the attic – Weberhaus works there, as well as in the exterior walls, with a vapor-retarder fleece.

Regards,

Dirk

If I only have light outlets planned by the prefabricated house manufacturer and then want to procure and install the LED spots myself, do I have to observe a specific installation depth and inform the prefabricated house manufacturer about this? Does he have to alter the ceiling or walls?

To do that, one would need to know the structure of the ceiling, as there are slight differences. It can also look different with the various suppliers. With a 2-3cm installation depth (furniture light), it will probably always work; beyond that, I would ask the company for a solution. For the plastic universal boxes (Kaiser) known to me, you also need 2cm of clearance above them, so a total of 7-10cm of hollow space. In the suspended ceiling, no problem; on the upper floor, you just have to ask.
