The play area with all the equipment should be placed where it can be supervised from inside the house to potentially prevent hazards.

Certainly, even if interest in one’s own garden is limited, no one wants to spend their evening leisure time looking at unused play equipment.

I would always build a garage onto the house if the property allows it. What also causes high costs is when the house is built far away from water, electricity, ... This requires extensive trenching.

Have the parcels already been formed or are they still in planning? If they are still in planning and the boundaries can still be changed, the access should be beveled on two sides and slightly widened. This is quickly done and you gain (with the same plot size!) a lot of space, see attachment.

Hello everyone,

a quick interjection from me, so you don’t think I have disappeared into the void...
Unfortunately, I am currently very busy with work, so I can only continue with my planning in the middle of next week.
Nevertheless, many thanks in advance for your hints and comments!
I will try to incorporate them into 2-3 drafts so that I can then evaluate them.

Best regards
Paule

So far, I liked version 2 best - 1 doesn't work at all for me with driving around the corner, make one car bigger there, and you have to get out of the carport anyway...

I would also place a turning circle closer to the carport, and possibly the carport closer to the house. It would be very important to me to have a straight approach from the turning circle, without any curves... It could also be a camper or something like that.

And the terrace should be in the south(west), not in the east (if you already have the choice), or do you want a breakfast terrace? Then it would go halfway around the house...

Hello, I would like to bring up the topic again! I am interested in how you have decided now? Is the house already standing? Best regards Milo
