Hello everyone,
we have finally found the "right" plot of land in a new development area and purchased it in December.
Our neighbors have already had a soil survey carried out, with the result that 50 cm of soil must be removed and refilled. Well - that is not so unusual.
Now we have received our property plans from the surveyor. It turned out that our plot slopes 70 cm from right to left over about 22 meters. But much worse, the street level at the highest point of the plot is 90 cm above our plot and at the lowest point 150 cm.
We cannot build a basement because there are water problems in the area.
What options do we have? On the one hand, the soil exchange must be carried out, about 100 m3 + 600 m3 of fill to reach street level. What costs can we expect here?
However, the question then arises whether it is possible to build a concrete slab on this soil (50 cm + at least 70 cm)?
We are currently quite at a loss - not only worried about the costs but also concerned whether we can even build a house under these conditions.
Thank you very much in advance.
Kind regards
