Good morning everyone,
yesterday the base slab for our double garage was constructed.
The specifications were:
6.40m x 8.00m
2 notched driveways with angle rails as edge protection
2 empty conduits to connect to the utility room of the house
Surface smoothed out

In my opinion, the result is not satisfactory.
Behind the empty conduits there is a depression because not enough concrete flowed in here.
The angle rails as edge protection partly protrude a few millimeters above the base slab because not enough concrete came underneath here either.
At one corner, it seems that inside the formwork boards were temporarily used as a patch, which is why the corner now has additional edges.
The surface generally has many grooves, "dents," and "dunes."
Attached are some pictures.
My question is, can these issues be properly reworked or would it just be "botching"? The executing company knows the pictures and points, and I am currently waiting for their feedback. However, I want to be sure and not let myself be given false promises regarding the solution of these issues.
Thanks in advance for your assessment and advice!
Regards!

Some defects disappear at the latest when masonry is done. Should the floor remain visible or will there be screed applied? If it were supposed to be exposed concrete, post-processing with a power trowel would have been necessary. But that costs a lot of money. Therefore, I decided to apply screed in the garage.

It was agreed in advance that it would be sufficient to smooth the surface, since it is only going to be a garage. I am now thinking that I will try to sand down the larger "bumps" and then apply a 2-3mm layer of filler. The garage will not be built with masonry. A wooden stud prefabricated garage will be installed. My main concerns are regarding the somewhat floating angle brackets and the corner that was later shuttered with planks. Let's see how that can be resolved... unfortunately, I am absolutely not an expert and hope that the company will honestly and openly tell me how we can solve these issues now.

Hello everyone,
we have now also checked the dimensions of the base plate (except the height measurement).
The as-built compared to the plan is shown in the attachment.
From our point of view, significant:
4cm difference in width between front and back
2cm wider nose at the front in the middle compared to the plan
14cm difference in the length of the diagonals, which means that the base plate cannot be completely square.
So far, the response from our company regarding the mentioned "defects" is still pending overall.

Are these deviations in the dimensions still within the "tolerance"? I am wondering how I am supposed/can place a right-angled 6.40m x 8.00m prefabricated garage on this base plate…

Thanks for your assessments!

According to DIN 18202 Tolerances in Building Construction, there is an allowable deviation of 20mm for deviations from the floor plan at nominal dimensions of 6-15m. These would probably be significantly exceeded here....
