I have received house offers with additional costs ranging from 7000 to 17000 (Klinker instead of plaster)
If you put aside the extra effort every 10 years for plaster (painting), then there’s still the time factor: certain klinkers go out of fashion, just think of the yellow klinker from the 70s... These houses are hard to sell. Then the cheap ones: all look (in my opinion) cheap.
Whoever wants something solid in the standard, is building to finally be finished, and does not have the highest facade demands, for them the surcharge for klinker is fair and reasonable.
I personally live in a white settlement, terraced houses plastered. Everything looks friendly, even in dull and overcast weather, and the walls shine.
In our northern region, it can look very bleak when the trees are not in leaf and all houses are faced with this dark dull red klinker....
