Kitchen planning - we are missing the idea

so a long panoramic window similar to I think that's really nice! I would also plaster everything on the left with tall cabinets and do without the tall cabinets. A downdraft extractor outside of the island is, in my opinion, a waste of money.

This is how we implemented it. More than satisfied. The kitchen is not completely finished yet. The cooking island was the best decision ever.

Between island and tall cabinets 1m. Could be a bit more. But it’s only annoying if the door is open and a second person wants to pass through. Between island and cooking area 1.25m Perfect for us.
