kitchen planner

Hello, we are about to start our construction and were at the kitchen planner yesterday. He wanted to persuade me to move some windows because then the kitchen would fit better. Isn't it rather the task to get the beautiful kitchen into the room? I'm not building the house for the kitchen but the kitchen for the house. Specifically, it’s about moving a balcony window. The problem is that with the floor window above, 2.25 meters wide, it no longer lines up. The window below would be offset from the window above. What do you think about that? :o

Basically, you are of course right; on the other hand, it is precisely these little "extras" that can make some kitchens excessively expensive. If moving the floor-to-ceiling window element in the attic doesn't disrupt the symmetry of the room itself, it is probably the most cost-effective solution— even if this kitchen builder has to do it. Otherwise, find another partner for the kitchen; there are also creative minds in this trade :D

I don’t think the roof can be shifted that far, it would have to be a whole meter. My wife is still working on our entire house :eek:

Hello, if the construction is to start soon, then the planning/building permit is also in place. And then you can't just move the dormer like that.... and all because the kitchen planner can sell you a kitchen without much effort. Regards

For every room, there is the right kitchen, not necessarily as a standard kitchen unit, but custom planning should make this feasible. Before I spoil the exterior view just to make it easier for the kitchen planner or to save some money, I would consult more kitchen makers. Most work with common comparable software; much depends on the skills of the planner.
