ui, elevated dishwasher, my dream :) - "the hole" does look stupid, but in an emergency it can also be converted into a shelf if everything goes wrong...

I would also withhold 10% / 1000 EUR, it would depend on the total price, with 40k total 10% is rather too much, but the kitchen will definitely cost significantly more than 5k :)

I actually received a request in the meantime stating that I should pay the total amount minus €1000.
But that was obsolete because I had already paid the total amount. =)

In the meantime, the kitchen installers were here and installed the missing cabinet and replaced 2 other parts. We were allowed to keep the faulty shelf as a goodwill gesture – it now lives with us in the basement – since otherwise it would have been disposed of, which I thought was too bad.

Then one of the dishwashers didn’t work (we have 2). I called the kitchen studio, the boss immediately called the installers (they had just left an hour ago), and they came back – only to find that the angle valve was turned off. The classic.
I had assumed I wouldn’t be able to reach the angle valve. Turns out you just had to pull out the drawer. And they drove back to us for that. I apologized about 20 times, but they were very friendly and said it was no problem at all. =)
