Exactly. And there must be a distinction between 4-5 people coming (1-2 times/month) and 10-15 people coming (2-3 times a year).

Yes, or rather, where should the island and the table go?

Yes, it is a new build. Capacities for what?

Yes, just as last drawn, I mean .. and, NO carousel, but dead CORNER. By the way, the table should be moved slightly to the left, but you still wouldn’t sit directly in the line of sight from the hallway/front door.

You can also see the difference compared to your two island variants:

Reasonably, the living area on the left is planned with at least 350 cm, in addition there should be a passage to the terrace door below, so overall at least 450 cm, leaving about 400 cm to the right. And honestly, a peninsula that is integrated into the kitchen flow as unfavorably as in your variants turns more into a storage surface and restricts the rooms and movement possibilities.

Regarding the sink .. you don’t wash everything by hand, just a few pieces occasionally, so you get used to the draining board facing in a different direction.

42sqm is not small, but in this arrangement with two large sofas, a dining table AND a kitchen island, which takes up more and more space than a kitchen unit, a challenge. Therefore, I ask if there are possibilities available that we do not know without a floor plan.

Honestly, I don’t really like any solution because the room is so awkwardly laid out for this version. Or rather, the passage position doesn’t allow for a cozy arrangement of the dining table. Is that a city villa? Best regards

Good that I don't always change my mind ... I had also already that 850 cm width is a rather unfavorable dimension
