Hello, Very strange, who advised that? Pellet heating systems benefit from the favorable primary energy factor. That is not unimportant when submitting an application. However, the operator has to pay for the final energy!

Best regards

Hello €uro,

our architect is an energy consultant and gave us this statement.

However, I have not really delved into the subject and regulations, as I can quite well live with the pellet heating system.

Gas as a fossil fuel is supposedly not possible for us (location of the house, associated energy balance related to primary energy, no use of solar possible).

I was able to verify some calculations of our architect on the internet, so I trust him in this regard.

Hello,
That already looks a bit different and does not fit the general statement:
.....to my knowledge, a gas condensing boiler is not possible in the case of a KFW40 house because of the CO2 balance.!
The specific framework conditions are always decisive.
For economic reasons, I would mostly prefer a fully modulating air heat pump over a pellet heating system, provided the conditions for this are right.

Best regards
