we have had an architect for about a year now, with whom we are planning our single-family house with a granny flat. However, it turns out that he unfortunately is not familiar with the requirements of the KfW (primarily concerning the granny flat).
Therefore, we would like to get external advice. The KfW website offers little information on this. Except that you should contact your financial partner. Is that the best contact or are there other points of contact?

You mean the grants and subsidies according to KfW? The banks are responsible for that.

The architect is the right contact person for that.

But that would explain why the architect can’t do that. It’s not his job to investigate the best possible funding options.
