Hello,

I have now obtained various offers for my construction and wanted to decide on one of the companies. It is a reputable and large insurance company. We are currently in the process of submitting the documents.

Unfortunately or fortunately, I have now received a job offer with a higher salary and am supposed to sign there apparently this month. Unfortunately, the final loan approval/contract is not even there that quickly.

Does this usually still work or do companies often make a big fuss about it? I think my job level is quite good, we are not talking about a temporary job or anything like that.

I just want to stall the new employer if necessary.

Do you have a probationary period at your new company?

Hello

you write that you should sign this month. When would the starting date in the new job be? Certainly not October 1st, as you also have normal notice periods to observe.

Basically, the bank / insurance checks the current situation. If this fits, then there is also an approval. After that, you are free as a bird and can do whatever you want. The main thing is that you service the loan.

Personally, I would not take the risk of starting a new job and building at the same time. Do you think it looks good to constantly have to go to the construction site during the probation period, make follow-up calls, etc. (?) You have to settle into the new work environment and the tasks.

But that’s up to you.

Hey,

thanks to you. I just got the statement about the current status from my bank advisor as well. Great

Build on the side? Surely that works .. it’s equally possible or not for one job or another ...
