Item number. Ikea Effektiv rolling cabinet

Hello dear Ikea fans,

I have a roll container that is about 15 years old, where the last key is so bent that the locksmith cannot replicate it. The service hotline told me that there might still be a replacement for it, but I would need to provide the article number. Can someone tell me what it is?

take a look on the back or underside of the container. Ideally, there should be a sticker with the data there.

If you upload a photo, I can check the 2003 catalog to see if it was still the same container.

It's best to take the key with you to IKEA. There is a number on the key (1 or 8 or similar). If someone at Kuse knows about it, they can reorder it. You won’t be happy with the article number for the old cabinets, as these were not listed back then. Also, some models had these keys available for purchase with the lock. So go directly to IKEA and "bother" customer service. Normally, they should be able to find it.

thanks for the hints. Unfortunately, there is no article number on the container, nor was the visit to customer service successful. The problem seems to be that there is probably no spare part number for the lock and the key. Nevertheless, I have now uploaded the picture, maybe someone can tell me the article number of the container.

I only have a number from a slightly newer version, which also has the lock in the same place, to offer. 400.438.99 If Maverick writes that the key can be ordered when an employee from customer service is familiar with it, then that will be the case. If the item number does not help, ask for a long-standing employee of customer service. Preferably in a store that has existed for more than 10 years.
