Is the thermal insulation facade damaged by nails in the exterior wall?

Now we're comparing apples and oranges here. Besides, I never said that it was acceptable to drive nails into the façade. The landlord certainly would have had the right to complain about it or even issue us a warning - I don't deny that. But he used it as an additional pretext because he has wanted us out for some time in order to sell the house more easily. As I said above, I did not want to go into the entire history between us and the landlord here; because it doesn't belong here. I am only interested in factual opinions on whether the thermal insulation façade can be irreparably damaged by driving small nails into it—because that was exactly the accusation.

Apparently, this is just the last nail in a long story. If it doesn't change anything anyway, you don't need to care about the detail: insurance and done.

irreparably* only if moisture was able to penetrate into the insulation layer for a long time through the small hole and the insulation therefore lost its insulating ability. *irreparably = extremely high costs / replacement of wall element Caution: layman's opinion
