I had a Grötz garage offered from him, size 6x6 including a 5-meter door, one window, one door for about 15,900. Strip foundation about 3k and crane per hour about 120 euros.

Other carpentry businesses were similarly priced and got back to me after the season. Everyone initially complained or laughed about my price expectation. How about the insulation? So winter/summer? What are the temperatures inside and the humidity?

Yes, I have a garage in timber frame construction from a local carpentry. I am quite satisfied so far, but at the moment we have problems with humidity. However, the garage is not yet paved and the floor is always damp. I still have to clarify with the planner whether ventilation openings should be installed. Active ventilation with humidity detection (available from the garage door manufacturer) and automatic partial opening of the door. That would be the next step. But I assume it will get better once it is paved and thus there is also a capillary-breaking layer under the pavement.
