I did the installation myself with the company. It was a family friend who owns the company.

You know the price is reasonable.

The increased interest rates for people who have to finance, the well-performing stock market for people who can invest money, the perceived lack of subsidies among bargain hunters (everyone has already gotten used to the removal of VAT, but not to the loss of certain storage premiums...) are just three aspects causing price pressure. These aspects are clearing out the order books of private customer providers, which were still full just 1.5 years ago. I had actually expected this downturn only around 2027/8, when retrofitting is so advanced that the market is only driven by new construction and renovations. How wrong one can be.
But it will get even cheaper as storage prices continue to fall and there is still some room left on module prices. Substructures are likely to rise slightly and inverters to remain stable. Maybe I am mistaken again.

Module prices still have room? Do you know anything about that from private or professional experience? As far as I know, the modules from the large Chinese producers are already in the red (per piece) and are only profitable for them through subsidies.
A lot is probably going to happen with storage in the near future. The speed of development is much faster than all experts assumed. Soon, fixed storage batteries and those with sodium-ion technology will likely come onto the market. To be precise, they already exist, just not yet here and not for private customers.
The lower energy density is not so relevant for home storage.

Everything you describe I can confirm. The "air" I mean is currently not with the manufacturers.

Professionally.

So wait with buying storage. Maybe at some point we will be at the stage where everything that is generated is stored privately.

I'm not an expert but from what I read, storage in the car is probably coming. That would be brilliant for us with electric cars.
