Is the Funk Rollladenmotor Rohrmotor24 recommended?

I have a question about radio shutter motors. Has anyone had experience with the motors from rohrmotor24? Should you choose the motor strength to match the window or just go 1-2 sizes stronger? I read somewhere that you should actually take the exact strength because the motor could potentially destroy everything. Now, let's say I have 10 shutter motors each with 1 radio switch. Can these later be made smart home capable? Is there some kind of radio receiver that then forwards everything to the network?

Then I have another question about the width of the motor. Which width of the motor do I need to choose, the width of the shutter box or the width of the shutter?

And does anyone have experience with the motors from rohrmotor24?

From which manufacturer? They have various ones on offer.

Fitting is definitely the better option. Otherwise, the motor might either tear the shutter or break out of the anchoring in the box. (of course, it depends on how the box is constructed)

It depends on what you understand by smart home, which manufacturer you choose for the motors, how the rest of the infrastructure is set up, and exactly which functions you want and and and... the topic is as diverse as the discussion about favorite colors.

For what reason do you want to buy them? Replacing existing roller shutters due to age? Or is it about the remote control?

I am currently building new (turnkey) the surcharge for a roller shutter is a mixed price of 350€. Since we have 20 windows, that would be a great additional expense. Therefore, I am now having a supply line installed and will do the motors myself.

Then get motors that have at least obstacle detection and block protection. Otherwise, the "simple" ones can also damage your tanks etc. in automatic mode.
