Is the compensation offer from BU fair?

And a carpenter will surely find a custom solution. However, the compensation is then not sufficient for that.

...for the pantry??? A custom-made storage space instead of Ivar in the pantry... Everyone can probably manage that themselves for 9.50, but the corner space is simply no longer available. By the way, for us it was the house entry: I had planned a kitchen unit from wall to wall in the utility room (a nice 3.20 meters was available to me) and what do they do? They put the service provider’s house entry exactly there. Now we have a shorter kitchen unit and about 40 cm of space left, where mop buckets, ladder, and broom now stand.

I believe even a layperson can still get a custom-made pasta shelf. Overdimension it hopelessly and simply fix it to the wall with brackets so it doesn't collapse ;)

Yes, I also get a bit nostalgic because I read too much Pinterest. When you search for "Pantry Organisation Ideas" there, you find all these huge pantries that some multimillionaires put together in their mansions, with unlimited time and money at their disposal. I had pinned stuff like that by the dozen before building the house. And now I look a bit sadly at my Ivar shelf on the right, and the 18€ cheap shelf on the left, and the empty wall between the IVAR and the freezer (which barely fit through the wrongly planned door), and think "well, we messed up." ;)

I'll have to learn to live with that. I’ll only pay a carpenter for that if I win the lottery. He can then also gladly do various other things. ;)

Sorry, but anyone who searches for Pantry Organisation Ideas on Google, Pinterest or anywhere else and thinks that what they find there makes them happy, no longer has their life under control!
