And every two years you need new Gardena… If even and durable irrigation is desired, you use Hunter, Rainbird, etc.

The rectangular sprinkler for standing is now 20 years old and still works.

I will take a closer look at the [Vierecksverband].

I am not really into the subject yet and had naively thought just to spread 5 things on the lawn and that would be it.

Unfortunately, it's not that simple, especially if it also has to be around the house, etc.

For example, I have 7 sprinklers on three lines for just 200 sqm of lawn.

Should flower beds still be laid out around the lawn or a hedge?
It is significantly easier to bury the pipes before setting up the garden than in the finished garden. If you want to expand significantly later, buy an irrigation computer with as many possible channels as possible. As sprinklers, I can recommend the impact sprinklers from Rainbird. They honestly look like cheap plastic, but they have a great range and cover both the close area and the farther area evenly.
Our garden has been somewhat complicated here. We have four sprinklers that are connected to two irrigation lines (water tap with 5.5 bar pressure), then we have two hedges (one in full sun, one in the shaded area) that are supplied via drip hoses. Then various pots on the terrace, which are supplied via drippers, a vegetable bed with high water demand, and two long flower beds. Altogether, that makes eight irrigation zones.
The control looks as follows:
The whole thing is housed in the garage in a tool cabinet, which I cut open at the bottom with an angle grinder. From there, eight lines go through the wall and distribute themselves in the garden.

At the water tap, it always gets a bit more complicated due to the low flow rate. We have more than 70 sprinklers and about 500 meters of drip tubing. 20 zones. Control is via KNX. This morning, 14m3 of water flowed through again.
