Is it allowed to remove an asbestos roof yourself?

It will probably depend on whether he can prove to you that you did not work properly. Image material is quickly at hand, since it seems like everyone only walks around with a smartphone nowadays. Overall, it probably depends on how lenient the neighbors are. No one has complained about dust (aside from the asbestos issue), noise, etc. Others apparently have neighbors who are literally lurking with cameras looking for violations.

In case anyone is interested: The landfill accepts these from us for 207 euros per ton... Only requirement: Pack in Big Packs.

Metal roofs, heating, radiators, styrofoam. There was also interest in windows and doors, but my sons used those for a shed. Listed little by little as it came up.

So let's keep it short; I called the city: The lady on the phone didn't know at first and had to ask around with the result: It is recommended to hire a company for it, but I am allowed to remove it myself as long as it is done properly.

We also disposed of a corrugated asbestos roof 10x10m ourselves. Picked up transport packaging at the landfill, placed the individual sacks on the trailer, lifted the panels down and put them into the sacks. Did not throw anything down from above, did not saw or separate. Threw away dust masks, gloves, and rain jackets afterwards, 2018 €600

We also have a 10x10 corrugated sheet roof. I assume you dismantled it using scaffolding? How long did the whole thing take? To ask differently: Was it a huge effort for you? You probably went back and forth between the landfill and the construction site often? I also have a regular car trailer with which I wanted to take the bags away.
