Dear Sir or Madam,
my name is Luise Bergmann and I am a student at Hochschule Bremen.
I am studying Applied Leisure Science and am currently writing my bachelor's thesis on the topic of experiential shopping through neuromarketing. As a practical example, I chose Ikea because I have been a long-time fan and spent my semester abroad in Sweden.
To make my work a bit more interactive, the question to you: Is a visit to IKEA an experiential shopping for you or not? If yes, what makes the visit an experience for you?
I would be happy to receive many constructive answers for my bachelor's thesis!
Cheers to IKEA!

Best regards, Luise :D

The entire atmosphere there relaxes me. Every area is designed differently and sets accents that I like to incorporate into my private living space. I also take decorating ideas with me every time. And basically, I always come home totally satisfied, as long as I haven’t spent too much money there... Surely everyone knows that.

Hi,

yes, it is always an experience. The size, the atmosphere, and above all the restaurant are always a nice experience. When you arrive at the restaurant, you know that 50% is done! I always find it good as an overview of where you are in the huge house :D! Greetings

Hello Ludwig,
thank you very much for your contribution.
I was just at an IKEA restaurant yesterday and it was, as usual, really good.

Not so reserved are the other IKEA fans, tell me your opinion!
Also feel free to tell me what you can't stand and maybe would like to have improved, I am objective and would also like to shed light on both sides.

Best regards, Luise

Hello Luise,

yes, shopping or visiting Ikea is an experience! When we, (my husband almost always comes along) finish our shopping at Ikea and go to our car, we always have a great laugh about our fellow customers.
You can hardly believe how many people stand in front of the store with their fully loaded shopping carts, wondering how to fit their purchases into the vehicle. And honestly, with many, many of them, we think along with them :), especially when we see their car. I even believe that some have already considered leaving the children there and packing the purchased goods instead. :) I would wish that our store had an outdoor dining area. Then we would be regulars there.

Best regards
crluise
