Hello bangolo

Neither heat pump, pellet heating, nor condensing boiler are capable of that.

A heat pump does not burn anything.

In addition, an air or collector heat pump also uses
almost exclusively solar energy. So these would also be solar systems.
(0.063 watts/m² usually through terrestrial heat flow)
Only at about 10m depth is the annual average temperature of about 8.3°C consistently found.

Geothermal energy is only used with ground probes.

Hello parcus,

ok let's put it differently, only the solar system and similar systems do not use other energies for heat generation, be it electricity, gas or whatever. Although theoretically the question would always have to be asked, how high is the energy share to produce the solar system. But the normal consumer is almost always interested in what I can save monetarily. The question of environmental protection is always the second.

What do you mean by air or collector heat pumps, air/water heat pumps or geothermal heat pumps? They use regular electricity or maybe green electricity but that costs.

Best regards

Hi bangolo,

The energy sources are the same, primarily the sun, secondarily electricity. (Thermosiphon systems aside, as they are not very useful in our latitudes)

Hello Parcus,

why does a thermal solar system need electricity as secondary energy, let's leave out pumps and drives?

I always think you can only say something like that with difficulty, such number games and questions like "does a solar system bring me anything" can only be analyzed based on a specific construction project.

Of course, everyone recommends something different. I think the big problem lies in the renovation of old buildings, where builders want to install state-of-the-art heating systems but have no insulation on the exterior walls and windows with heat transfer coefficients over 2, that just doesn’t work.

Best regards
Bangolo

Yes, a solar system definitely pays off - even in Germany!

Hello!

Are the solar panels also "weatherproof," for example, against hail or lightning? Does that not harm the panels?
