Is a penthouse feasible for 350,000€?

Yesterday we surveyed the plot and started drawing the plan. We now have an external dimension of 12x10 meters and have to expect a maximum of €350,000 to €370,000 including [Baunebenkosten]. Our draftsman as well as his son (head of a construction company) have assured us that this is a realistic price.

It's insane how people are led to ruin.

I believe 2 experienced men who deal with the subject daily and know themselves how it works in our countryside with a lot of own effort and support know what they are talking about :) To add, the garage is now an underground garage in the basement, so this part is no longer relevant ;)

Then just get a fixed price offer with a guaranteed price for yourselves ;)
It is simply totally unrealistic.
Please do not make yourselves unhappy.
The numbers mentioned here are correct. The budget is simply too small.

So I built on the slope in 2016... and we are also in the countryside and we did a tremendous amount of work ourselves. But well, 2025 will be better and above all cheaper^^

Oh, I see .. yes, that also costs nothing. I would also be a bit cautious. There are some seasoned men here! And whether a draftsman necessarily knows how expensive building a house is, I doubt that. The BU, meaning his father or son, is for me also just the one who first opens his hand and makes money off you. His work is finished after the shell construction.
