Hello friends of the light ;-)
I want to work with LED light strips in most rooms of a new building. Instead of hiding small transformers everywhere, I was wondering if it would be technically sensible to install one central transformer per floor and lay a separate 12V wiring with a switch per room. Advantages from my point of view:
- Less power loss due to central transformer
- Easier to install and maintain
What do you think of the idea? Has anyone done this before?
