Irregular signal disturbance on TV since the internet became available

Maybe an F-connector came loose on the satellite cables during the cable pulling for the internet connection back then, and the shielding is therefore compromised. I would check the surrounding F-connectors or have them checked.

Hello everyone. I have now checked the following. First, I disconnected the internet connection from the router but left everything else on. The error still occurs. The second time, I left the internet connection on the router and unplugged the router from the power. The error still occurred. I noticed that the error usually happens within the first minute after I turn on the TV and the signal is lost for about 20 to 25 seconds. It really only happens once a day. No additional internet cables were pulled into the house. When the Telekom technician was here, he only connected the fiber optic cable to the fiber optic connection, which then went to the Telekom modem, and from the Telekom modem a cable goes to the router. The technician never left the utility room and was never near the TV or anything similar.

Ever thought about switching to magenta tv? Great picture quality, fiber optic is enough for plenty of HD reception/recordings in parallel. Best conditions to separate yourself from sat and HD subscription.

Where is the multiswitch of the SAT system located? I still believe that the shielding or an F-connector is the problem.

I know the "problem" too. When turning on the TV, the error message about no or bad signal sometimes appeared. A quick switch and everything worked. But it was never perceived as annoying, so it never became a problem. Maybe the LNB also needed a moment to realize it was needed... or something like that. I only noticed it on the TV in the living room. In the other rooms, I never noticed it there, but they are not used often either. Now, with the new TV in the living room, it hasn't happened yet.
