It will be as I suppose. Are you paying a part almost twice? Once to the municipality, and again to the company?

Thanks, thanks! But I have enough invoices. Gladly again next year.

Their standpoint is: We have always done it this way, that the municipality only covers the length of the line from the property boundary to the first building wall – everything beyond that must be paid by the builder.
Problem: It is nowhere stated. Not in the purchase contract for the property, not in the statutes, not in the water supply regulation.

Something like that.

In my opinion, the purchase contract for the property and my payments to the municipality cover everything up to the building wall. For that, I have paid or will pay a total of about €3,000. To the municipality.

Ah ok. Good that you were so meticulous there. I clearly remember the reading aloud – I had asked if there would be any additional costs. At that time, as well as recently by phone from the notary before he "forgot" everything, it was said that this was included.

The reading aloud is actually the wrong time for changes. I was surprised by our rather trivial changes because the draft was used for everyone in the new development area and yet was so unfinished in some places. But maybe other buyers had other points to change that we overlooked ... who knows

It was a group reading with about 15 people present. I would say quick money...

They also repeatedly suggested to us that everything was in order because we were buying from a municipality, etc...
