Thank you very much for all the answers.

: You're right! We accepted it that way. Our own fault. :-/ But isn't there at least a duty to inform on the part of the company? It looks like my gentlemen still want to try writing a defect report. You can always try.

: Heraklith boards? Doesn't ring a bell for me now. But definitely for my gentlemen. I'll present it right away. For the slightly higher standard doors (not the 1.98 - 2.01 ones), we are still missing 1-2 cm including the frame. Maybe that can help. Thanks!

: That's true. We had an offer made for higher standard doors. They are really 10-20% more expensive than the very normal standard doors. However, as I wrote a bit further above to Kisska86, we are missing 1-2 cm again to close it. The double price refers to the actually and currently required dimension.

Oh, that's something... the problem actually becomes a big problem because we are pressed for time. 4 terraced houses = 4 households.
Two of them have already given notice and have to move out by 01.05. :-/

Have you ever requested a quote from the door supplier of your construction company, perhaps together with the other RH owners?

Well, by 01.05. that should easily be sorted out. There is still enough time. We are moving in mid-March and only the parquet flooring and the interior doors are missing. Both will be completed within the next week.

: It all goes at once. If so, we'll get all the doors at one go. But we tried with the one from the company. So far, no one has contacted us to take a look and measure for an offer. Since he is also a direct carpenter, I almost assume that there won't be any price relief. But whatever...he doesn't even get back to us. :-/

: Well, let's hope so. At the moment, I’m still optimistic that it will be resolved quickly. My gentlemen are a bit pessimistic though.

Yes, with us too, depending on the door, 1-2 cm was always missing. Heraklith boards are wood fiber cement boards that you can simply screw on top. They are very easy to smooth out with fine filler and done. My husband took two evenings for 11 doors. Then sanded again because fiber fleece was applied on top.

There is definitely enough time. We only had the doors along with the frames installed after we moved in, so that no dents would occur during the move. In case of doubt, simply buy and have installed the regular (= 2.1m doors) and then fill in afterwards. It can't be a big effort, as Kisska86 wrote.
