I just took a look... If you open the fridge door to 90 degrees, it "creates" an additional width of almost 3 centimeters. Not so simple, this matter. Maybe someone else has ideas or has implemented it like this at home? Preferably with pictures.. Thanks and best regards Steffi.

You may only push the refrigerator in as far as the depth of the cabinet. The door must protrude at the front.

Or you design the drywall accordingly so that the opening angle is taken into account and yet the front of the cooling device is flush with the wall.

Hello Sigi, how about "entsprechend so"... that's exactly what I'm talking about. A concise solution would be great..

How big is your current refrigerator and how tall is the door next to it? And, are you sure that a successor model is always available in that size?

However, I don't think you can do it without scratching. Especially if the refrigerator door should not protrude.

The refrigerator is 187 cm high. I might raise it slightly at the bottom (5...7 cm) so that the baseboard can run along the bottom. The pantry door next to it may need to be adjusted in height if necessary. A new refrigerator should then have similar dimensions again.
