Hello,
we are planning a 180mm polyurethane over-rafter insulation on our roof (new building), because we want to see the rafters and the boarding.
The roof overhangs 1m on all sides and even 3.5m at the terrace (covered terrace). It is a simple gable roof with a 35° pitch.
The entire roof is 204m², of which only 130m² is the roof area above the living space. Is it possible to insulate only this area? Or does the rest of the roof also have to be insulated (due to the height differences)? (That would be over 2500 euros more expensive) Thanks + regards
