Exactly. Classified ads.

Yes, from the outside.

No, that’s no problem for the stuff.

Of course, you can also work with the chipboard. But you’ll get the really greatest success by sticking PUR on the glass from the outside. The frame/wood also gets cold, but it only makes up 10% of the entire door surface. I got through the winter in a bathroom with single-pane glass before I could install the new window in spring. That’s where my idea comes from. You’ll notice a huge difference.

So, I once looked for side entrance doors on classifieds – currently, there is nothing modern within a 100km radius. On Ebay, not a single one was sold nationwide in the last 3 months – so I got the idea to check what cheap [NET] from Poland costs... and came across a post from a certain while researching experiences with the many online providers (with installation).
Question: Our other [NET] facing the street cost a gross 2,300 at the local carpenter:

"Window and door elements made of white plastic with 88 mm finished thickness, concealed tilt-and-turn fittings. Triple thermal insulation glazing Ug 0.5 with continuous warm edge. Installation according to the Energy Saving Ordinance 2014.

Uw value according to standard window 1230 × 1480 mm <= 0.84 W/(m²K)."

Fittings are from KFV, Porta Fenster (from Westfalica...) is the supplier (?!), and the profiles are from Kömmerling. Somehow all of this was too much for me. Compared to the double-wing [HET], which lets in drafts like crazy ("you can’t do it differently in old buildings"), the street [NET] closes very well and also makes a fairly high-quality impression:

The garden [NET] would be 79x198cm, with the threshold outside being 2cm lower.

I have now inquired about the following things on 2 Polish portals:

    [*]Width: 970 mm | Height: 1980 mm
    [*]3 latches | 2 swing bolts
    [*]U under 0.9
    [*]RC2
    [*]P4A

Currently, the door opens outward. From a security point of view, it would be better to open inward, I have understood. There would be room for that as well. What do you advise in this regard? Actually, P4A hardly makes sense either because next to it are three windows that have no security at all. So if a burglar wants to get in, he will probably break those…

Are Polish [NET] significantly cheaper? Does anyone have concrete experiences with a door portal or can recommend a portal evaluator where other customers share experiences?

Regards!

Last question: Do you mean the thick PIR boards or the thin XPS boards? Should the aluminum face inward or outward? What is the best way to glue them?

I mean the PIR boards. Simply bond with PU adhesive foam, aluminum can go on the outside (water-repellent).
