Hi Exactly, and here a sharp pencil is an advantage. The result will be that from the money saved, which the insulation would have cost, a big party with friends can be financed. For those few moments when they want to stay in the garden house, a sturdy oak floor and wooden walls are sufficient. Best regards

This is what it looks like, because insulation is not heating. I stick to my opinion, the effort is simply way too high and the benefit is low. If there are deficiencies in the house, then invest in the insulation of the windows and doors. Also check the transitions from the walls to the roof.

That is already available for relatively little money.

Yes, just let him do it, that will bring money back to the economy :) . You can just tear out the floor and install a proper concrete floor here, if necessary even with underfloor heating :) If money doesn't matter, you can build so many nice things

I rather think money does play a big role. With this insulation of the floor slab, I also see no great benefit. It costs a ton of francs and in the end the saving is minimal.

Okay, I understand. My reasons are that we want to feel comfortable in the garden. But 12 degrees room temperature is simply too cold in winter. Alright, I will buy a heater fan and then it will work. I am less concerned about the energy costs. Thank you very much for your information.

My situation is similar: I want to furnish my basement as a craft room. Since I will retire soon, I will probably spend time there daily. The floor, walls, and ceiling are concrete, built in 1996. The special feature is that this basement is built into the hillside and my car parking space is located on top of the basement ceiling. My idea is to slightly insulate the floor before laying vinyl (or similar). I have no problem with the doors; there is presently a step about 5 cm high. I will paint the walls and ceiling.
