Hello everyone,
we have a small garden house (concrete house) with a roof. The roof (gable roof) basically consists of a simple wooden construction with roof tiles on top. The problem is that apparently mice or dormice get through the gaps and cracks and fill the whole space with droppings.
Now I would like to somehow cheaply "insulate" the roof. I have already thought about just spraying everything with expanding foam or something similar (I will probably get ridicule for that), but I think that wouldn’t be the best solution (also considering that I don’t want the animals to nest later between the roof tiles and the "insulation wall").
Can you help me with which solution would probably be best here? It doesn’t have to be nice – just practical. For example, screwing wooden boards on, really filling all the slots with expanding foam, etc...
Thanks in advance
