You could also embed the new pipes in Thermozell concrete, which also provides some insulation and evens things out. Unfortunately, in old buildings, you can never completely get rid of thermal bridges. In our case, the basement floor is already the cellar floor, so insulating from below is not possible; therefore, we put everything on top. But if there is another cellar below, of course, you can also insulate the cellar ceiling. Some heat will definitely flow into the ceiling then.
