Hi,

after somehow realizing that our drawers have no inner compartments, and the kitchen studio is very slow when it comes to ordering just a small built-in part, I ask you:

- has any of you ever installed a Maximera in a brand-name kitchen like Nolte, Alno, or however they may be called? Unfortunately, Ikea does not have 90 cm drawers, but I could upgrade our 60 cm one. The internal measurement is 57 cm. The Maximera drawer is said to be 65.4 cm... so 6 mm are missing. You could probably work with spacers, right?

- Plan B would be to order an original Nolte drawer from a kitchen studio that also sells online. However, there is the note "before 2016" and "after 2016." We have a kitchen from 2013... Who would please measure their new Nolte kitchen regarding the 60 cm internal measurement?

- Plan C... now it gets a bit crazy: has anyone ever tried to install an 80 cm Maximera in a 90 cm drawer? Anyway, I would be interested in an idea.

That is of course a typographical error: it must be 56.4 cm :)

I consider Plan C to be difficult to implement: The Maximera drawers have a metal back panel into which the side panels are clipped. And that only exists up to 80cm...

I definitely consider Plan A to be feasible. It will surely be fun to determine the exact position of the drill holes, and you will probably have to recreate the front at the appropriate height.

I haven't implemented it in a kitchen but in our walk-in closet, however, I installed the Pax interior in a Nolte cabinet. In your plan c, you would have to add 5 cm to each side, which looks awful.

yes, but it is doable, get on it, pierce with a scratch drill... measure beforehand ;)

Why? Is the Utrusta (front panel) no longer available for purchase? It is currently not in stock, but it will come back, right?

You just have to measure exactly WHERE you need to hold on before you punch through… but yes, doable.

My mistake. I had overlooked that it is about inner drawers.
