Installation of plastic windows and aluminum door in sand-lime brick masonry

Hello, I have ordered the first plastic windows for my extension, Alphaline 90 with Veka profiles and Winkhaus profiles. Additionally, an aluminum door. Now I want to install them and properly seal them. I have already plastered the lines after cutting out the openings. Joint width is between 5-10mm on each side.
Now I have read that there are sealing tapes and compressible tapes for this. Which is sensible and what is needed? How is it with the compressible tape and the construction foam? Which foam should be used for this? There is apparently special window and door foam. Do you prefer a certain brand, e.g. Würth or something?
Since the sealing material, I also want to use it for the new house made of KLB stones.

On the outside, a waterproof compression tape should be used. I would not use foam, as it can sag and tear off; rather, the joints should be filled with mineral insulation. It is important to have an airtight connection on the inside between the window frame and the reveal with [Airstoppband]. This can then be plastered over later.

So no more foam, just put the tape on the outside, then screw the window with wall screws, insulation in between, and then tape it on the inside towards the masonry.... Which width of the compressible tape do you use, I mean the corresponding joint width is clear, but the thickness, there are different widths, the window is 90mm wide...

The width is quite irrelevant, the important thing is that it swells enough, so it depends on how far the reveal is out of plumb.
