Installation location for light switch / socket

I hope I am in the right forum section here :)

We are currently planning a single-family house and are in the process of fitting the kitchen. The problem has arisen that we are still missing a place for the light switch for the kitchen.

My question is now whether it is technically possible to install sockets and light switches on the end face of a 17.5 cm aerated concrete wall, or whether this is even permissible.
Please refer to the attached picture for a precise illustration.

If this is not feasible, we would have to shorten our kitchen unit a bit in order to create some free wall space.

Certainly, that is feasible and also allowed. But honestly, not nice. I also wouldn't end the kitchen so cramped against the wall. Presumably, a tall cabinet or something similar is supposed to stand there. Can't the wall be extended a little further after all?

The kitchen is currently set back about 5 cm from the edge of the wall. In the drawing, our architect only roughly sketched how it should look, hence the flush measurement. Unfortunately, extending the wall is not possible because it would protrude too far into the room.

We have 4 light switches on the load-bearing wall at the top of the stairs at the end, and I have to say that looks nicer than those things on the edge of a wall. Are high cabinets going there?

We have 4 switches on the front side in our kitchen in a 17.5 cm calcium silicate brick wall, so basically just like you... I can't "complain" about the appearance.
