Hello,

we are in the new building and need to specify the bathroom heights of the individual fixtures.

WC: 41cm top edge of porcelain (without lid) to top edge of finished floor (recommended by Geberit)
washbasin: 90cm top edge of washbasin to top edge of finished floor (recommended by Laufen)
shower mixer tap: 110cm from this follows height of shower head 210cm
bathtub mixer tap: 20cm top edge of bathtub

I am 183cm tall and my wife is about 175cm

I hope you can give us feedback from your experiences regarding the individual heights

Thank you.

Take a folding rule and see what you have now.

Do you feel comfortable? Then keep it up.

"My" toilet is mounted a bit higher than the rest of the house (15 cm taller than my wife). You notice those few centimeters, but it works everywhere

We planned the toilet at 44cm and the washbasin at 87cm. (170, 182 cm)
You need to test the toilet, those few centimeters really make a difference. For old age, higher toilets are certainly not wrong.
I think 90cm at the washbasin is fine for your height.
Do you have small children? That should also be taken into account.
Our construction manager said on this topic: raising the washbasin is always possible, lowering it is more difficult because of the connections.

I think a 90cm sink fits for us. Anything higher than 90 is not recommended, right?

No, we don't have children yet.
But 1 is planned.

The biggest question mark is the WC, what height we should make it.

I mean, we hung our toilets at 43cm with almost the same size as you two. The best thing is to measure how it is in your current apartment/house and whether it feels too high or too low for you.

So far, children in every normal household have managed with stools or Ikea hacks. You are both tall, take height.
