I think 90cm for the sink is fine. Would you increase to 43cm for the toilet?

We are very satisfied with 43cm.

Note: A low toilet is healthier. A higher one may be better for getting back up in old age, but there are also seat risers and grab handles for that.

We will set the washbasin at just under 1 meter in the new bathroom that will be built sometime. I hate the bent-over posture...

I have my sink at 92cm and still find it too low. I am 184cm tall. The toilet is at 44cm the ceramic and thus optimal for me. For the shower, I would definitely put the showerhead higher so that you can wash your hair under it without hitting the showerhead.

Hello,

we are in new construction and need to specify the heights of the individual bathroom fixtures.

Toilet: 41cm top edge of porcelain (without lid) to top edge of finished floor (recommended by Geberit)
Sink: 90cm top edge of sink to top edge of finished floor (recommended by Laufen)
Shower mixer valve: 110cm which results in shower head height 210cm
Bathtub fixture: 20cm top edge of bathtub

I am 183cm tall and my wife is about 175cm

I hope you can share feedback from your experiences regarding the individual heights

I am going to assume that you are not currently living in a tent. Have you already measured the current heights in the apartment (in the house)? Make corrections upwards/downwards if needed and you're done.

Yes, I also have a tip! The higher the sink, the greater the risk that when washing something higher than the elbows, e.g. the face, you get your entire forearm wet and everything drips everywhere. So a blanket height doesn’t work either.

The healthiest posture for the big business is by the way the squat, because it "flows" best that way. The more upright you sit... it just wasn’t really designed by nature to take care of business on a bar stool.
