Inner drawer does not fit

Hello,

I have a strange problem. I have a 60 cm and an 80 cm base cabinet standing side by side, both fully equipped with Maximera drawers. Both have 2 shallow drawers installed at the top, with the uppermost being an inner drawer behind the 20 cm front of the lower shallow Maximera. In the 60 cm cabinet, the inner drawer runs smoothly, but in the 80 cm cabinet, the last centimeter gets stuck. The problem seems to be the large cover caps over the metal mounting of the cabinet, as they hit against them. I have the cover attached on both cabinets, used the 2nd drill hole for fixing the rails in each case, and assembled the drawers as inner drawers. What could be wrong here?

Did the instructions say that the plastic parts have to be removed? At least with the Förvara drawers, that is the case. They are anyway only to cover the hangers and useless behind drawers.

thank you very much! You are of course right. The caps also have to be removed on the Maximera drawers. I didn't take the drawing in the manual seriously and since there were no problems with the 60 cm cabinet ...
Occasionally a word of explanation instead of just pictures wouldn't be bad in the Ikea instructions.
