Hello community,

I have a question, about 2 weeks ago I bought a kitchen at Ikea and the father of my best friend is an electrician and he connected the induction hob for us. After connecting, we wanted to test everything but nothing works and there is power at the socket, he measured everything. My question is, if I go to Ikea for an exchange, will it be exchanged immediately or how does it work?

I would appreciate a quick response

just to ask stupidly, is there no pot on the hob or does it not turn on at all?

If it is the latter, you should call the manufacturer. The phone numbers are in your user manual. Please have the serial number ready, which is located under or on the side of the hob. An appointment will then be arranged with you quite quickly and the hob will be checked at your home. Since Ikea did not connect the hob, you should have the electrician's invoice. If it turns out that the hob was possibly not connected properly, the electrician will be held liable.

Therefore, please do not go to Ikea, as it is an electrical appliance and not a broken cabinet, etc., the above procedure applies and you will be sent home anyway to contact the manufacturer yourself.
