Hello,

I am planning to install an alarm system inside our two-story single-family house (new build) using motion detectors.
Windows should not be monitored by contacts, although 20 windows would need to be monitored on the ground floor.
I want to install a wired system.
However, only on the ground floor.

The control panel should be installed near the door in the basement.
On the upper floor, I then need an additional unit to arm/disarm the alarm, in case someone wants to go to the refrigerator, etc.

I was not able to find anything like this from the common light switch manufacturers.

Does anyone have a tip for an alarm system manufacturer and/or any general tips for the installation of alarm systems?!

Thank you very much for your support.

Regards

Peter

There are now also motion detectors that are immune to pets.

You are free to do so and we do not know your motives. But you should get advice from the police beforehand.

Hi If you are planning to install an alarm system, I can give you a tip: there is a KFW subsidy where you can get up to €1500 investment grant. It is also clear that some regulations must be observed, such as applying for the subsidy before the installation. If it only concerns the [Link removed by mod. Tilt, see forum rules 3.4] brands, I can only recommend brands that have VDS approval because it means the brand has been tested and is reliable; these are brands like Daitem, Telenot, and Jablotron. The contacts for windows are quite important, as is upgrading doors and windows. I hope you are already aware that most break-ins happen through windows, terrace, or balcony doors. I would also recommend having a security check done by a company; they do it for free and your house will be checked for vulnerabilities.
