Hello everyone!

My wife and I are considering whether we want to have the planned partitions (1x next to the bathtub and 1x in the shower) illuminated.

What are your experiences with this? Has anyone of you implemented this?

If yes, how expensive is it? Roughly estimated... And how is something like that switched? Normally via the main light? Or do you have a separate switch?
Our vanity unit also has a continuous LED strip. We will have it switched separately next to the main light switch so that you are not dazzled at night or completely woken up from sleep...
Would it be an idea to switch the partitions there as well?

BTW. How big should such partitions be? Do you have any experience values? And is something like this even feasible in an 11.5 cm partition wall?

I would be very happy to receive some answers.

If you are considering something, could you then represent it a bit visually, how it is meant?

Ah... so a lit niche. Yes, it's quite trendy nowadays... or almost out of fashion again.

Surely it can be realized within a usual boxing. Switchable as desired with main light or extra or even by sensors etc.

Well, basically no problem at all. Have an electrician install a 5-core cable and that's it. Then you have all options whether to switch a light strip or something else with a switch or sensors....

Rather one that is not entirely clear without a picture. I wouldn't build walls there; it's much more practical to do that with drywall.
