IKEA RINGHULT High Gloss Doors Metod Kitchen, Experiences

I would be very grateful if you could give me some information about the kitchen system Metod. Our situation is as follows: We live in the USA and it was recently announced that a new kitchen system will also be introduced here from February 2015. We are now trying to decide whether we should still buy Akurum or wait for the new one. Nothing is known about the new system yet, it will be called SEKTION and is said to be based on the European kitchen METOD. Now to my specific questions, which I have already tried to research online but have not really come to a conclusion.
1. Is there still the apothecary cabinet among the METOD tall cabinets? This type of interior fitting can no longer be found online at Ikea.de.
2. Is the cabinet AVSIK with the roller shutter front still available? This one is also no longer found online.
3. My next question concerns the new fronts. I really like the high-gloss doors ABSTRAKT in white. With the new METOD system there are also high-gloss doors Ringhult. However, these look as if they are partly high-gloss, partly matte, or do the Ringhult pictures deceive?

1. No, but it is not a problem to make one by attaching a door to two drawers as before.
2. AVSIKT no longer exists.
3. RINGHULT corresponds to ABSTRAKT and is also high gloss.

Already several weeks before the end of Faktum, some fronts were no longer available in the IKEA stores here. If some parts for the desired AKURUM front are not in stock, I would not buy AKURUM unless IKEA has assured in writing somewhere that they will still be available.

There was a 20% kitchen promotion about half a year or so before. After that, there was no general promotion anymore. The individual furniture stores sold some fronts cheaper depending on stock levels and other factors. The discount also varied, sometimes 20%, sometimes 50%, sometimes ... At that time, however, not all sizes were still available. Also, for example, not all ÄDEL fronts were sold cheaper, but only those that were not in high demand. But as I said, each branch decided for itself.

Thanks again. Here, there is regularly a 20-25% discount on kitchens about 3 times a year. That seems to be different in Germany.
