Hello everyone,
now that I have been finished with setting up our kitchen for some time, I don’t want to withhold the following tip from you.
Anyone who has a Tassimo machine at home knows the problem. Where to put all the cardboard boxes/capsules without it looking messy and without taking up too much space on the countertop?
These 55 cm long Ribba picture ledges are ideal due to their inner dimensions and light weight (about 670 grams without packaging) to be mounted inside a 60 cm wide Metod kitchen door and to place the Tassimo boxes inside.
see pictures...
to mount them on the inner door, you have to make sure that the ledge is fastened about 2.3 cm from the edge of the side where the hinge is located.
Also, make sure that the screws are not too long, so they don’t come out on the front side again.
This way, the door closes perfectly and does not hit anywhere. Depending on whether and which shelves you have in the cabinet, make sure they do not interfere.
Of course, these and the long picture ledges can also be mounted above the countertop.
Best regards, robi
