Hello dear community,
I am currently building my first (Ikea) kitchen and am partly at my wit's end. At the moment, I don't know how to proceed at the following point:
I bought this combination:
Unfortunately, there is no assembly manual for the complete package; only how to assemble the carcass and how to insert a corresponding hinge are described individually. But here lies the problem. I installed the upper door along with the upper hinge as planned, and it fits perfectly; when closed, the door is exactly flush with the carcass at the top. However, the distance from the middle shelf to the next lower insertion position for the second hinge is significantly larger than the distance from the top of the carcass to the uppermost hole below for the first hinge. So if I were to install the second door now, it would hang about three centimeters too low, and there would be a gap between the doors. You can adjust a few millimeters with a hinge screw, but not such a huge difference! Is there a master plan here, or does anyone have a useful tip for me on how to properly install the second door?
A thousand thanks in advance for information.
